The Company was originally incorporated as a private limited company under the Companies Act 1956 on December 23 2005 with the name Shemaroo Holdings Private Limited. Subsequently pursuant to a Scheme of Arrangement approved by the Hon?ble High Court of Bombay vide its order dated March 7 2008 and by a special resolution of the shareholders dated May 28 2008 the name of the Company was changed to Shemaroo Entertainment Private Limited and a fresh certificate of incorporation consequent to the change of name was granted on June 3 2008 by the RoC.
