The Company was incorporated on 7th October 1993 as Jhaveri Credits and Capital Limited with the Registrar of Companies Gujarat at Ahmedabad and obtained Certificate for Commencement of Business on 5th November 1993. The company is promoted by Shri Jitendra B. Jhaveri Smt. Shakuntala Jhaveri and Shri Rajesh Jhaveri for the purposeof carry on the business of leasing and hire purchase bill discounting as fully described elsewhere in this prospectus.PRESENT BUSINESS OF THE COMPANY:The Company is presently engaged in the business of Leasing Hire purchase intercorporate deposits investments in primary and secondary market business. Up to the date of 14th August 1995 the Company has already deployed Rs. 17.25 Lacs for leasing of plant and machineryand office automations equipments it has placed Rs. 76.90 Lacs as intercorporate deposits it has made investments in listed securities to the amount of Rs. 35.51 Lacs. This entire amount has been brought in by the Promoters as their contribution towards equity share capital.LEASING:The company commenced leasing activities in the year current. Up to the 14.08.95 the company has already deployed Rs. 17.25 lacs for leasing business. STOCK MARKET OPERATIONS:The major activity of the company upto the year 1994-95 has been investment and trading in stock market operations. Funds were used for investment in shares and securities of blue chip listed companies. Up to the 14.08.95 the company has already invested Rs. 35.52 lacs in shares and securities.INTER CORPORATE ADVANCES:Jhaveri Credits and Capital Limited also provides the temporary inter corporate advances to the corporate bodies. The advances proposals are evaluated by professionals of the company and are considered on merit.Up to the 14.08.95 the company has already Rs. 76.91 lacs as intercorporate deposits.SUBSIDIARY COMPANY:The Company does not have any subsidiary Company.
