B.K.Moorthy and Sh.AnilMadhok jointly with the object of carrying on the business offinanciers hire purchase and leasing etc.Incorporated with Registrar of Companies Calcutta as a PrivateLimited Company on August 10th 1988 in the name of Inter StateFinance and Leasing Company Private Limited. The name waschanged to Inter State Finance Private Limited on July 27 1992subsequently it was converted into Public Limited company on 3rdOctober 1994.PRESENT BUSINESSPresently the Company is mainly engaged in fund basedactivities namely Hire Purchase and Lease finance of commercialvehicles.Leasing & Hire PurchaseLeasing is a means of finance available for various goods likeconsumer goods industrial equipments etc. The company hasstarted business in the year 1990-91 and within a short periodof 3 years it has done leasing and hire purchase business ofRs.653.00 crores till march 31 1994 as against Rs.426.00 lacstill 31.3.1993. Further the company has earned a sum ofRs.139.00 lacs each for the purpose of fresh leasing and hirepurchase in the current year.
