BLFL was incorporated as a Private Limited Company on 13thof August 1990 with the Registrar of Companies Gujarat atAhmedabad in the name and style of Brijlaxmi Leasing ndFinance Pvt. Ltd. Subsequently the Company was convertedinto a Public Limited Company pursuant to a resolutionpassed on 28th November 1994 upon which a fresh certificateof incorporation was issued by Registrar of CompaniesGujarat on 8th of December 1994. The Company operatesfrom its Registered office at 204 Sterling Centre R.C.Dutt Road Alkapuri Baroda and has a branch office at aprime location in Mumbai. PRESENT BUSINESSThe Company is at present engaged in the business ofLeasing Hire-purchase Capital market operations andFinancial Consultancy.LEASING AND HIRE PURCHASE:The Company has already started its leasing and hirepurchase activities. To this effect they have alreadyapproached many corporates in Baroda and have received apositive response from these corporates.CAPITAL MARKET OPERATIONS:Primary Market:The Company has been granted recognition by SEBI as aCategory III Merchant Banker enabling it to carry on therole of underwriters and advisors to Issues.Secondary Market:The Company has already deployed Rs 34.57 lacs Rs 100.19lacs and Rs. 92.53 lacs for the years 1993-94 1994-95 and1995-96.The Company had already seen the potential in the capitalmarket and increased its investments from Rs 21.18 lacs inthe year ending 1992.
