Pegasus Castalloy Ltd. was incorporated in the State ofMaharashtra on December 19 1990 as Pegasus Wheels Pvt.Ltd. and by passing a special resolution on September 301994. was converted into a Public Limited Company and thename was changed to Pegasus Castalloy Ltd and a freshCertificate of Incorporation dated October 18 1994 wasobtained from the Registrar of Companies Maharashtra.The Company is setting up a foundry with a capacity toproduce 2000 M.T. per annum of aluminium castings such ascylinder heads intake manifolds crank cases etc. for theautomobile engine and engineering industries.The Indian Promoter has entered into a Joint Venture withSOFIGIC on 06.12.1994 which is a company registered underthe laws of France and which is the holding company forSIFA S.A which has an aluminium foundry in France. Thecollaboration is for technical assistance and equityparticipation.
