Advent Hotels Promoter Pledge Released After Facility Repayment

"Advent Hotels Promoter Pledge Release: 21.70 Lakh Shares Released"
Advent Hotels Promoter Pledge Release Details
Sanjana Goenka, a member of Advent Hotels International's promoter group, released the pledge on 21,70,000 equity shares of the company. The shares represented 4.02% of the company's total share capital.
The pledge was released in two tranches. The first release involved 13,15,000 shares on August 18, 2026, followed by the release of 8,55,000 shares on August 19, 2026.
Advent Hotels Pledge Background
The shares were originally pledged in favour of IDBI Trusteeship Services Limited, acting on behalf of HDFC Limited.
The pledge was created in connection with a financial facility sanctioned to MIG (Bandra) Realtors & Builders Private Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Valor Estate Limited.
The company stated that the underlying financial facility has been fully repaid, resulting in the release of the pledge.
Advent Hotels Disclosure Clarification
The company also addressed a discrepancy in its earlier disclosure concerning the percentage of promoter and promoter group shareholding that was already encumbered.
Advent Hotels clarified that the corrected and ratified percentage of promoter and promoter group shareholding encumbered is 4.02% of the company's total share capital. The company attributed the earlier discrepancy to an inadvertent human error in reporting.
