Since its incorporation company is mainly engagedin business of investment in shares & securities InterCorporate Deposits & consultancy services. The Company wasoriginally incorporated with a Authorised Capital of Rs.5.00 lacs which was subsequently increased to Rs. 350.00lacs. To diversify in to Merchant Banking activities theCompany got registration as Category-III Merchant Bankerw.e.f. 1/11/1994.Present ActivitiesThe major income of the Company during first two years hasbeen from dealing in securities. The Company hasdiversified its activities and started Consultancyservices. The current business of Company includeinvestment in stock market cansultancy serviceintermediation for intercorporate deposits billsdiscounting and sub-underwriting.MAIN OBJECTS OF THE COMPANYTHE MAIN OBJECTS OF THE COMPANY AS SET OUT IN THEMEMORANDUM OF ASSOCIATION ARE AS UNDER:1. To carry on and undertake the business of portfolioinvestment in equity shares preference shares stocksdebentures (convertible and non-convertible) companydeposits and to deal in Government Securities includingGovernment Bonds loans national saving certificates PostOffice saving schemes units of investments and to manageinvestment pools syndicate in shares and securities.2. To provide a package of investment/merchantbanking/capital market services by acting as manager to thepublic issue of securities by underwriting securities.
