Promoted by Shri Prabhu Dayal Sureka and his sons ShriNarendra Kumar Sureka and Shri Pradeep Kumar Sureka TuniTextile Mills Limited was incorporated as a Private LimitedCompany on 6th July 1987 and was converted into a PublicLimited Company by passing a Special Resolution u/s 31 ofthe Act on 25th March 1992 and certificate dated 6thAugust 1992 was obtained from Registrar of CompaniesMaharashtra to that effect. The Company is engaged in themanufacture of synthetic fabric having a plant at MIDCMurbad Dist. Thane. The Company commenced commercialproduction at the said plant in February 1989.The Company has been manufacturing shirting fabric andmarketing the same through dealers mainly in the Bombaytextile market. It has been operating 42 Ruti ''C'' 220 cmslooms. Besides this the Company gets its job done on around300 looms owned by outsiders on contract basis. At presentthe Company manufactures around 75 lakh meters fabric perannum. Raw material i.e. yarn is being purchased fromReliance Industries Ltd. Century Enka Ltd. Parasrampuriasynthetics Ltd. Siyaram Silk Mills Ltd. Konkan FibresPriyadarshini Spinning Mills Ltd.. Orient Syntex Ltd
