HISTORY AND CERTAIN CORPORATE MATTERSOur Company was incorporated on July 27 1932 under the Companies Act 1913 as The Ganga Sugar Corporation Limited. The Company obtained a certificate of commencement of business on February 6 1933. The name of the company was changed to Gangeshwar Limited on April 3 1973 and subsequently to Triveni Engineering & Industries Limited on March 31 2000.At the time of incorporation the registered office of our Company was situated in pre-partitioned Punjab (present day Pakistan). After partition the registered office of the Company was shifted to Delhi. In June 1997 with the approval of our shareholders and sanction of the Company Law Board the registered office of our Company was changed from Jeevan Tara Building 1st Floor 5 Parliament Street New Delhi 110001 to the present registered office at Deoband District Saharanpur Uttar Pradesh 247 554.
