Sturdy Polymers Ltd. was incorporated in the name and styleof Sturdy Polymers Pvt. Ltd. on July 27 1989 and wassubsequently converted into Public Limited company on May5 1994. The company acquired an industrial plot in 1990from HPSIDC. Originally it has planned production ofplastic storage tanks in the company. Subsequently afteranalysing the market trends the company changed its plan &decided to produce PVC rigid pipes alongwith an NRI Mr.Deepak Jain who also contributed in the Capital in 1992 tothe extent of Rs.34.40 lacs. After receipt of the funds.the company conducted market survey and started negotiatingwith various suppliers of machinery. The company hascompleted necessary formalities regarding inflow of foreigncurrency on non-repatriable basis. The delay is only at theconception stage of the project however there is no delayin the implementation of the project. Sturdy Polymers Ltd.a company promoted by Sh. M.L. Gupta and Shri S.S. Gupta isto set up project to manufacture Rigid PVC pipes at BaddiIndustrial Area Solan H.P. with an installed capacity of5436 TPA at a total cost of Rs.708.12 lacs.MAIN OBJECTS OF THE COMPANYThe main objects of the company as set out in itsMemorandum of Association are as under:1.
