The company receivedthe Certificate of commencement of business on May 13 1994The company is now setting up state of art integrated sodiumchloride (salt) refinery at Nawa City District Nagaur Rajasthan.The Company will have a total installed capacity of 100000tonnes per annum for the manufacture of free flowing refinediodised salt. The Company will be employing the latesttechnology based on the Counter Current Hydro ExtractionProcess (Swiss technology) for the proposed unit.Saboo Engineering Works (SEW) a group company hassuccessfully developed salt iodisation plants as per UNICEFspecifications and they are also registered with them. SEWhas manufactured 22 such units and have currently participatedin a tender to send salt crushers to Africa.
