HISTORY MAIN OBJECTS AND PRESENT BUSINESS OF THE COMPANYThe Company was incorporated under the name and style of KaranCement Limited on 26th March 1992 by Dr. B.V Raju and hisassociates. Mr. H. N. Malani joined the Board as ManagingDirector on 1st April 1992 to setup and operate the plant. TheCompany obtained Certificate for Commencement of Business on16th April 1992. Thereafter Mr. Rajan Raheja was invited toparticipate in the Company. Mr. A. H. Parpia and Mr. A G.Kapadia joined the Board of Directors as representatives of Mr.Raheja on 6th August 1992. Mr. Raheja formally joined the Boardon 1st April 1994. The name of the Company was subsequentlychanged to Prism Cement Limited and a fresh Certificate ofIncorporation consequent on change of name was obtained on 15thSeptember 1994.
