Orbit Exports Limited was originally incorporated in the Stateof Maharashtra on 16th September 1983 in the name andstyle of Orbit Exports Private Limited. It wassubsequently changed to a Public Limited Company undersection 31/44 of the companies Act 1956 and the Companyobtained fresh certificate of Incorporation dated30th September 1994 confirming the conversion of theCompany from private limited to public limited Company.The Registered office of the company is located at DivyaDarshan Ground Floor 32 2nd Fofalwadi BhuleshwarKalbadevi Road Bombay 400002. The Company is engaged in the manufacture and trading ofJacquard fabrics and Velour de Lyons (Fine Velvets) whichare used for dress material drapery & trimmings. TheCompany first set up a sophisticated plant in 1986 withItalian Vamatex Looms and Staubil jacquards to makefancy jacquard fabrics. After the tremendous success of thisunit a second unit was set up in 1993-94 with JapaneseLooms and French and Wast German equipment tomanufacture "Velour de Lyons" (Fine Velvets). The Company''srange of products is augmented by sourcing complimentarycheaper fabrics on a job work basis. The Company is the solebuying agent for woven and knitted menswear andleather garments for M/s. Casket Plc a GBP 100Million turnover leading garment importer in U.K. The Companyalso acts as buying agents and exporters to Savile Rowtrading Co. Hawkshead and Mc Bride Fashions in U.K. Thecompany is in the process of expanding its activity inNorth America Australia & Europe.
