The Company became a Public Ltd.Company with effect from 20th December 1993 and consequently afresh certificate of incorporation for change in name toMoongipa Capital Finance Ltd. was obtained. The company''s namewas changed to reflect the nature of operations carried on byit. The company is no longer in the estates and propertiesbusiness but in the financial sector. The original objects forwhich the company was incorporated was to go in to the businessof Estates & properties. It diversified into the financialsector as this sector is undergoing major changes.The Company is engaged in leasing hire purchase and investmentin shares.The company has achieved consistent growth since itsincorporation. The company''s gross assets base has increasedfrom Rs.77.78 lacs in 1991 to Rs.496.38 lacs as on August 31st1994.SUBSIDIARY OF THE COMPANYThe Company does not have any Subsidiary Company.
