The Company was incorporated on 23.07.1990 as a PrivateLimited Company under the SSI sector for processing ofpolished Granite Tiles Slabs and Monuments. The Companywas promoted by Mr S.G.Agarwal Mrs Renubala Agarwal MrSyed Yasin and Mr Sunil Kumar Agarwal. The Company acquiredland for its project on 02.03.1991 and obtained sanctionfor term loan of Rs. 53 lacs on 04.05.1991 and anadditional term loan of Rs. 26 lacs on 27.12.1991 from theKarnataka State Financial Corporation (KSFC). As per theKSFC appraisal commercial production was scheduled tocommence from December 1991. The Company commenced trialproduction in January 1992 and commercial production inMarch 1992. The Company obtained 100% EOU status on07.06.93.Foreseeing a better export potential and higher pricerealisation in Granite Monuments the Company switched itsproduct line from Granite Tiles & Slabs to GraniteMonuments from 1993-94 onwards. On 25.01.95 the Companywas converted into a Public Limited Company and a freshcertificate of incorporation was obtained on 16.02.95 fromthe Registrar of Companies Karnataka.
