EFC (I) bonus share

To receive EFC (I)’s bonus shares, you must be a registered shareholder on the Bonus Share Record Date of 11-Feb-2025.

To qualify:

• Your name must appear in EFC (I)'s shareholders' register
• Shares must be held in your demat account or physical form
• All shares should be fully paid up
• Purchase of shares must be completed before the bonus share ex-bonus date of 11-Feb-2025

EFC (I) issues bonus shares in the ratio of 1:1. Based on that you will be allocated bonus shares for every share that you hold.
The number of bonus shares you receive mainly depends on the bonus ratio announced by the company.

For example:

• In a 1:1 bonus ratio, you receive one new share for each share held
• With a 2:1 ratio, you receive two new shares for each share held
• For a 1:2 ratio, you receive one new share for every two shares held

EFC (I)'s share price typically adjusts proportionally after the bonus issue. For instance, if EFC (I)'s share price is ₹100 and it announces a 1:1 bonus:

• The theoretical post-bonus price would be ₹50
• Your total investment value remains unchanged
• The number of shares in your portfolio doubles

This price adjustment reflects the increased number of shares while maintaining the company's market capitalisation.
