The company has been promoted by Mr. Mohan H. Bhandari and histwo brothers Mr. Kiran H. Bhandari and Mr. Prakash H. Bhandarias Bhandari Paper Products (P) Ltd. on 1st July. 1987 andsubsequently the assets and liabilities of a partnership concernnamed as New India Packaging Company were taken over by thecompany in 1987. Subsequently the name was changed to BhandariIndustries Private Limited and converted into Public LimitedCompany by passing a special resolution on 24/10/1994 and afresh certificate of incorporation was obtained on 27/10/1994from Registrar of companies Maharashtra Bombay.The Managing Director Mr. Mohan Bhandari is in the business forlast 12 years and the wholetime Directors. Mr. Kiran Bhandariand Mr. Prakash Bhandari are associated with the Company sinceinception in 1987. The products of the Company have a gooddemand in the market and are well received and accepted.The company has been in the manufacture of Paper Tubes and PaperContainers for yarn industry and defence respectively. Thecompany has been supplying laminated paper containers used forpacking of ammunition to the Ministry of Defence till 1991. Theshift in technology in the defence industry and the reduction inthe Government''s spending resulted in big reduction of defenceorders. The company initiated necessary steps and changed theproduct mix with a thrust on paper tubes for synthetic textileayarn industry.
