Bhagiradha Chemicals and Industries Limited a company with its registered office in Hyderabad was incorporated on July 7 1993. The company has subsequently obtained the certificate of commencement of business on July 27 1993. The plant of the company is located at Cheruvukommupalem Village Prakasam District Andhra Pradesh. The unit is eligible for State Subsidy Sales Tax deferment and subsidized power tariff as the unit is being located in a backward area. The main business of the company is to manufacture and sell pesticides which are fully set out in the Memorandum and Articles of Association and are also mentioned below in the prospectus.M/S Bhagiradha Chemicals and Industries Limited proposes to set up a project for the manufacture of 300 tons per annum of pesticide namely technical grade Chlorpyriphos for a total outlay of Rs. 1000 Lakhs. The plant has been commissioned and trial runs are in progress.
