Borosil Renewables Limited shared its Q1 FY27 business performance, industry outlook, and expansion plans during its earnings conference call with analysts and investors.

What Happened and Why It Matters

During its Q1 FY27 earnings call, Borosil Renewables reported standalone sales of Rs 405.69 crore, up 53% year-on-year from Rs 332.26 crore.

Standalone EBITDA increased to Rs 142 crore, with the EBITDA margin improving to 35% compared with Rs 92.53 crore and 27.9% in the same period last year.

Higher realizations also supported performance, with the average ex-factory selling price rising to Rs 160.30 per millimetre, while sales volumes grew 8% year-on-year.

On a consolidated basis, revenue stood at Rs 405.69 crore, while EBITDA nearly doubled to Rs 141.16 crore.

Management stated that the 600-tonne-per-day capacity expansion remains on track for commissioning in Q4 FY27, which is expected to increase production capacity by approximately 60%.

The company's hybrid captive power project now meets 93% of its electricity requirements, helping reduce energy costs.

Looking ahead, Borosil Renewables expects healthy demand for solar glass, supported by government initiatives and growing domestic solar installations. The company also plans to expand its rooftop solar business and aims to achieve revenue of over Rs 4,000 crore within the next three to four years.
