AMBALA CEMENTS LTD was originally incorporated as aprivate limited company on February 20 1992. It was subse-quently converted into a Limited Company vide specialresolution passed on June 22 1995. The company obtainedfresh Certificate of Incorporation from the Registrar ofCompanies on July 18 1995 from the Registrar of CompaniesNCT of Delhi & Haryana at New Delhi.The Company has been promoted by Shri Vijay Kumar and SunilChandra. Subsequently Shri Sudhir Chandra and Anil Gargwere inducted on the Board of Directors on 22.05.1995 and25.07.1995 respectively. Shri Sudhir Chandra resigned fromthe Board with effect from 25.08.1995 due to pre occupa-tion and there is no dispute pertaining to his resignationfrom the Company.At present the Company is engaged in manufacture ofOrdinary Portland Cement with an installed Capacity of16500 TPA. The commercial production of Ordinary PortlandCement commenced on 28th June 1993. The Company is sellingits product under the Trade Mark of SHREENATH" (The Trademark has been applied for registration and the same isawaited). The Company has already achieved a turnoverRs.174.87 Lacs during the year 1994-95. Keeping in view thepresent market trend and good demand of the Company''sproduct it plans to enhance its existing capacity from16500 TPA to 66000 TPA. For the expansion project the sitedevelopment work is complete and the designing of structureis in progress.Further the plant suppliers have beenidentified and orders for the plant and machinery have beenplaced.There has been no cost overrun/delay in implementation ofthe existing project. There has been no labour problems inthe past neither there was any delay in commercialproduction.
