The Company was incorporated on 11th May 1993 as PrivateLimited Company and was subsequently by way of a specialresolution passed on 11.10.1994 under Section 44(1) of theCompanies Act 1956 converted into public limited Companyand a fresh certificate of incorporation was obtained on21st November 1994. The Company was incorporated with themain object of carrying on the business of financing andadvisory services. However the Board of Directors of theCompany adopted its other objects for carrying on thebusiness of leasing hire purchase bills discountinginvestment share broking Merchant Banking and corporateadvisory services. Since its incorporation the Company isengaged in financial services like project counselling andconsultancy syndication of loans investments and otherfinancial services.The Company is a Non-Banking Finance Company and isgoverned by the Non-Banking Financial Companies (ReserveBank) Directions 1977 issued by Reserve Bank of India(RBI). The Company shall make an application to ReserveBank of India for registration under the said rules afterthe closure of the financial year in which the net worth ofthe Company exceeds Rs. 50 lacs as stipulated by RBI.
