Capfin India Ltd. was incorporated as a Private Limited Company on 16th March 1992 as Singhman Mercantile & Investment Pvt. Ltd. Under the Companies Act 1956 with the main object of undertaking investment business dealing in shares and securities etc. The company was converted into a Public Limited Company vide special resolutionpassed on 2nd May 1995 and obtained fresh Certificate of incorporation on 1st June 1995. Later on the name of the Company was changed to Capfin India Ltd. vide fresh certificate of incorporation consequent upon change in name dated 25th day of August 1995.The Company has been originally promoted by Mrs. Babita Mantry and Mr. Raj Kr. Singhal but later on both the promoter directors resigned due to preoccupation in other bussines ventures. The company is presentlyoperating under the overall control of Mr.Pradeep Kumar Agarwal since 28th August 1995 with the intention of further growing the business of Leasing Investment ICDs and other short term deposits etc.
