BASF India Limited was incorporated in Bombay on 13th May1943 under the Indian Companies Act of 1913. The Companywas originally incorporated under the name "R.A. ColePrivate Limited" as a Private Limited company. The namewas changed to Indoplast Limited on January 9 1963 andthereafter to BASF India Limited on September 23 1967.BASF India Limited (hereafter referred to as "the Company")is a Public Limited Company with 50% of its shareholdingheld by its collaborator.
