Incorporated as a Public Limited Company on 29.08.1983 as Prashant Food Products & Holding Limited under the Companies Act 1956 it obtained the Certificate for Commencement of Business on 23.09.1983. The Registered Office of the Company was shifted from the state of New Delhi to the state of West Bengal at Calcutta on 16.11.93 and consequently it received a certificate of Registration confirming transfer of Registered Office from the Registrar of Companies West Bengal on 31.12.1993. Subsequently the name was changed to Prashant Global Finance Limited and a fresh certificate of incorporation was obtained on 13.01.1995.Initially the Company planned to do trading later due to the liberalisation policy announced Indian Govt. the Company ventured into the financial sector.
