WHITE DIAMOND INDUSTRIES LIMITED was originally incorporated asa private limited company on 19TH March 1990 with the Registrarof Companies Maharashtra at Bombay. It was subsequentlyconverted into a Public Limited Company with effect from 21 stSeptember 1994 in terms of the resolution passed in the generalmeeting of the Company held on 25th August 1994.PRESENT BUSINESS The Company is presently engaged in thebusiness of kerfing (cuffing) of rough diamonds on job workbasis and trading of cut and polished diamonds with installedcapacity of 20 plates per hour. It has two units at Bombay andNavsari and has two laser sawing machines installed at theselocations. The company now proposes to take up an expansionprogramme for manufacture of cut and polished diamonds anddiamond studded gold jewellery with an installed capacity of45000 cts. per annum.The Company commenced operations in August 1990 by installing aLaser Sawing Machine at its Navsari unit. In December 1990 theCompany installed another Laser Sawing Machine at its Bombayunit for undertaking Job work of kerfing of rough diamonds.
