Yenkey Drugs and Pharmaceuticals Ltd. was originallyincorporated on 28th September 1988 in the name of YenkeyMedico Drugs Private Limited. The Company has beenconverted into a public limited company on 3rd Feb''95 interms of a special resolution passed on 23.01.95 underSection 31(1)/44 of the Companies Act 1956. Accordinglythe Company has obtained a fresh Certificate ofIncorporation consequent on the conversion from theRegistrar of Companies Andhra Pradesh vide ref. no.01-09102 dated 3rd February 1995.The Company is producing bulk drug intermediates asdetailed above and marketing in the domestic markets. Thetotal turnover of the Company is Rs. 89.70 lacs for theyear ended March 1994. Now the Company proposes to expandthe existing capacity of dye and drug intermediate viz; ECAand diversifying into manufacturing of high value chemicalsand bulk drugs viz; Sodium Azide and Vitamin B2 Phosphate.The Company is also proposing to set up a R & D Unit formaintaining high quality control standards of foreignbuyers.
