T&I Global Ltd. (T&IG) was originally incorporated as T&I GlobalPvt. Ltd. on January 31st 1991. The Company was convertedinto a public limited Company with effect from 4-8-1994. Thefresh Certificate of Incorporation was obtained on 8/9/94.The Company till now carried on the business of export of teamachinery.Main Objects of the Company:The main objects of the Company as set out in the MEMORANDUM OFASSOCIATION is as under:-(1) To manufacture produce buy sell import stock and dealin Engineering and Industrial goods machine tools grindingmachines automatic lathes drilling machines planningmachines planogrinders Textile machineries Tea machineries& spare parts equipments machinery of every descriptionprecision tools cutting and small tools fasteners electricmotors electrical equipments electric motors gear boxescables wires switchgears flame and drip proof meters electricfans cookers and flasks gramophone including record playersand records other domestic appliances regulators of alltypes electric all types electric kilowatt hour metersmagnets industrial jewels ammeters volt meters and othertype of measuring instruments electrical or non electric diecastings screws nuts and bolts transforms of all typescircuit breakers hoists elevators gears trolleys andcoaches winches air compressors transformers and switchgearswelders refrigerators domestic washing machines televisionand wireless apparatus including radio revivers andtransmitters micro wave components radar equipment valvesresistors electronic components devices & instrumentsconductors materials made wholly or partly of iron steelalloys and metals required in or used for industrialagricultural transport commercial domestic building powertransmission and/or construction purposes.(2) "To purchase take on lease or in exchange or set up orconstruct or otherwise acquire any lands tea gardensplantations factory and property as the company may thinknecessary or convenient for its business and carry on thebusiness of estate owner cultivators planters growers andmanufacturers processors or sellers and dealers in tea coffeecardamom pepper spices rubber and gutta-percha and gumsof every description corn cocoa rice oil copra coconutssugar plantations oranges cinchona grains paddy cerealscotton soils timber vegetables sericultural andhorticultural products and to manufacture dispose offimport export buy and deal in the said products."(3) To buy sell import export manufacture process convertgrind treat and deal in merchandise commodities and articlesof all kinds and to carry on business as traders importersand exporters agents brokers export house and to act aspurchasing selling or commission agents.Present Business of the CompanyThe Company is an existing 100% Export Turnover Companyexporting Tea processing Machinery since its incorporation inJanuary 1991. Exports have been made to tea growingcountries including Bangladesh Sri Lanka Papua-New GuineaMauritius Kenya Tanzania Uganda Malawi Iran Turkey andAustralia.Customers of the company include major tea producers of theworld such as Brooke Bond Kenya Ltd. Unilever Plc. TurkeyJames Finley Plc. Bangla Desh Lonrho Tanzania Ltd. BrookeBond Tanzania Ltd. African Highlands Produce Co. Ltd. KenyaForboes & Walkers Sri Lanka etc.The company has achieved a turnover of almost Rs.4 crores in1993-94. Most Tea growing countries are going formodernisation and expansion of their tea productionfacilities. Sri Lanka and Indonesia are switching over frommanufacturing Orthodox tea to CTC Tea. As exporters of CTCmachinery this has opened new avenues for T&I Global Ltd.Subsidiaries of the CompanyThe Company does not have any subsidiaries.
