Sunil Agro Foods Limited was first incorporated as aPrivate Limited Company on 20.01.1988 in the name of SunilRoller Flour Mills (P) Limited. The name was subsequentlychanged to Sunil Agro Foods Limited on 13.04.1994 and freshcertificate of incorporation was obtained.The Company is mainly engaged in proceesing of wheat in toMaida Atta and Sooji. Britannia Industries LimitedThe Company has during this year achieved 100% capacityutilisation of 30000 tons per annum and in order toincrease the existing capacity has embarked upon expansionplans. The present issue is being made mainly to meet thecost of proposed expansion.SAFL and its group Companies occupy a leading position inKarnataka with a wheat milling capacity of 90000 tons perannum and command a market share of about 22%.Today the Company is a well established profit makingdividend paying Company with consistent record ofprofitability since inception. The Company has been awarded the "Best Performance inProductivity" Award by the National Productivity CouncilNew Delhi for the year 1992-1993 and a Certificate of meritfrom Roller Flour Millers Federation of India this year forcommendable R & D.
