The status of the Company was changed toa `Public Limited'' Company w.e.f. 20th October 1993 and afresh Certificate of Incorporation was obtained from theRegistrar of Companies (ROC) West Bengal at Calcuttaeffecting the above change in status.The Company has received registration from SEBI to act asCategory I Merchant Banker with effect from 1st January1995.Present business operations of the Company includes IssueManagement investments and trading in securitiesplacement of securities corporate advisory servicesmanagement consultancy services portfolio management andinvestment advisory services and equity research.
