RTS Power Corporation was originally incorporated on12.12.1947 under the name and style of Bhanwarlal BhutoriaPvt Ltd. On July 2 1984 it became a public limited companyand subsequently w.e.f. 4.1.94 it came to be known by itspresent name. The first public issue of the Company wasmade in August 1985.In 1971 the Company set up production facilities tomanufacture power and distribution transformers at Jaipurand over the years it has established manufacturing unitsat Agra Jetpura (Jaipur) and Bhadurgarh (Haryana). RTSPower started operations with the manufacture of 16 KVAtransformers but presently it manufactures transformersupto 1600KVA rated capacity.PRESENT ACTIVITIESRTS Power Corporation Ltd is presently engaged in themanufacture and servicing of Power and Distributiontransformers upto a range of 1600 KVA(11 KV to 33 KV).Power transformers find a market with large power intensiveindustries state electricity boards railways and defenceservices. Distribution transformers find application withstate electricity boards and industries which are lesspower intensive.
