The company was incorporated on 20th April 1992 under the nameAlandi Metapress Pvt. Ltd. The company was converted to a publiclimited company on 30th June 1993. The name of the company wasthen changed to Rishi Laser Cutting Limited to have a groupsynergy and the certificate of change of name was obtained on6th July 1993.The Company after incorporation was negotiating with suppliersof machinery and also evaluating the advantages of various lasermachines before selecting the present machinery. Therefore thecompany could not go into production though incorporated in1992.The company has set up a laser workshop at Pune formanufacturing components used in engineering compressorsautomobile electronics machine tools food processing andtextile industry. Besides the laser cutting machine importedfrom M/s. Trumpf GmbH & Co. of West Germany the company hasinstalled several indigenous machines such as power press pressbrakes lathes etc to provide the customers with a advantage ofgetting fully finished ready to fit components.The company is also setting up a Heavy Press Shop close to theLaser Shop by installing two presses of 500 T capacity each andone press of 350 T capacity.
