Our Company was originally incorporated as a private limited company under the Companies Act 1956 in the name and style of “Phoenix Commodity Export Private Limited” bearing Corporate Identification Number U15314WB2002PTC095587 dated December 31 2002 issued by the Registrar of Companies Kolkata. Subsequently our Company changed its name to Phoenix Overseas Private Limited and a fresh Certificate of Incorporation was issued by Registrar of Companies Kolkata dated December 16 2008. The Company was subsequently converted into public limited company pursuant to a shareholders’ resolution passed at an Extraordinary General Meeting held on September 30 2011 and name of our Company was changed to “Phoenix Overseas Limited” and a fresh Certificate of Incorporation dated November 14 2011 was issued by Registrar of Companies Kolkata.
