The Company was incorporated on 21st November 1990 as a PublicLimited Company in the state of Madhya Pradesh to set up aSolvent Extraction Plant for the manufacture of Soyabean Oil andDe-oiled Cakes. The Company has obtained certificate ofcommencement of business on 13th March 1991. The IDBI videtheir letter No.2895/PED dated November 18 1992 had sanctionedthe term of Rs.335.00 lacs. The Company took steps to implementthe project and acquired 8 acres of land in February 1993 butcommenced work at site only in June 1993. The work at the sitewas disrupted due to heavy rains that followed and the Companycould recommence work only in October 1993. As per the originalschedule of implementation the Company was to commenceproduction in September 1993. The delay in commencement ofproduction has not caused any over run in the cost of projectdue to fixed price agreement with the machinery suppliers. Theproject is in advanced age of completion. The Solvent ExtractionPlant is expected to commence production by November 1994 andthe Refinery by December 1994.MAIN OBJECTS OF THE COMPANYThe main objects of the Company as setout in the Memorandum andArticles of Association of the Company include:1. To carry on the business as manufacturers importersExporters Traders of and dealers in all type of high mediumlow protein containing de-oiled meals Nitrogen containingde-oiled residues.2. To carry on the business of manufacturers processorsbuyers sellers stores warehouses of and dealers in all kindof grain pulses rice cereals cattle feeds and other fardproduces their by-products substances etc. and also toestablish install take on lease or otherwise run flour millsmills and oil presses.
