Initially it was incorporated as Private LimitedCompany on 14/1/1986 and subsequently converted into a PublicLimited Company on by passing Special resolution at itsExtraordinary General Meeting held on 13-4-92 and obtainCertificate from ROC on 14-5-92.The Company initially planned to set up a unit for themanufacture of Ferro Silicon with a capacity of 5 M.Tons perday by consequent upon change in the demand pattern ofdifferent ferro alloys and to have better realisation andadvantage of scale the company has subsequently envisaged a planto change the product from ferro silicon to Silicon Manganesewith an installed capacity of 13 M.T. per day. The Company hasalready been sanctioned a term loan of Rs.75.00 lacs from M.PAudyogik Vikas Nigam Ltd. for the purpose in 1988 and effectivesteps for implementation of the scheme were taken in 1989.Unfortunately due to long sickness of the father of Shri SunilBadjatia Managing Director of the Company he had to devotemost of his time in his family business of industrial gases.This resulted into time and cost over run. Now the Companyplans to enter into capital market to raise resources toimplement its project.
