The company was incorporated as a Public Limited company inthe State of Kerala on 3.2.89 and obtained Certificate ofCommencement of Business on 16.3.89.With the help of term loans from ICICI and KSIDC thecompany started establishing a 100% EOU for the manufactureof solid laminated boards out of rubberwood which is asubstitute for rain forest timber thus helping inconserving our precious National rain forest wealth. Thecommercial production was started on 1st August 1990. Thecompany the product and the technology being new thepromoters had a lot of hard work to do in respect ofdeveloping the right technology for treating and seasoningthe rubberwood that would be acceptable in theinternational market; manufacturing the end products tocater to the quality conscious export market; marketing theproducts which are new and produced using a newtechnology penetrating the international market. Havingestablished the unit the company went in for an expansionat a cost of Rs.264 lacs which was funded by a Public Issuein October 1992. The commercial production under expandedcapacities started in January 1993.The company is presently engaged in the manufacture andexport of quality treated seasoned finger-jointed gluelaminated boards.
