Ltd The name of the Company was changed toMahaan FOODS PRIVATE LIMITED on and with effect from 10th May1994The Company has been converted into a Public United Companyunder Section 31 of the Companies Act 1956 on and with effectfrom 10th June 1994 and a fresh Certificate of Incorporationhas been issued by the Registrar of Companies Punjab H.P andChandigarh Jalandhar on 22nd June 1994 for Company''s new nameand style of MAHAAN FOODS LIMITED.The Company has set up a Dairy Plant for processing of Skim Milkfor the manufacture of Dairy Whitener Skimmed Milk PowderWhole Milk Powder Instantised Milk Powders and other milk basedproducts at Paonta Sahib in the State of Himachal Pradesh.The company commenced commercial production from November 11989 with an installed capacity of 3600 tonnes per annum theproject at that time was appraised and financed by HPSlDCLimited in association with Himachal Pradesh Financialcorporation and State Bank of Patiala.
