Kisan Mouldings Limited (KML) was originally incorporatedon 20th November 1989 as a private limited company underthe name and style of Sanwaria Synthetics Private Limited.Subsequently the Company was converted into Public LimitedCompany by passing special Resolution dated 20.07.1993 andthe company was converted into Public Limited Company byobtaining a fresh certificate of incorporation fromRegistrar of Companies Maharashtra dated 5.11.93. Thename of the company was changed to Kisan Mouldings Limitedon 24th November 1993 and a fresh Certificate ofIncorporation consequent on change of name was obtained.The object clause of the Company was changed to includecarrying on the business of all types of processing ofplastic materials vide Company Law Board Order dated18.11.1993. The company has initially set-up at Tarapur a project formanufacturing SWR Rigid PVC fittings with an installedcapacity of 600 TPA at the cost of Rs. 230.00 lacs withfinancial assistance of Rs.85.00 lacs from MaharashtraState Financial Corporation (MSFC). The construction ofthe building and erection of Machineries for phase I hasbeen completed and production of SWR PVC fittings wascommenced in April 1994. However in view of common marketsegment and the rising demand it was decided to expand andenlarge and diversify its product range by manufacturingrigid PVC threaded / plumbing fittings large sized rigidPVC agriculture / pressure pipe fittings and ABS flushtanks at the incremental cost of Rs. 550.00 lacs (totalcost Rs. 780.00 lacs). The same is now underimplementation. MAIN OBJECTS OF THE COMPANYThe present main objects of the company as set out in itsMemorandum of Association and as approved by Company LawBoard Bench western region Bombay vide its order dated18.11.93 and as set out in object clause ''C'' videsub-clauses 98 & 99 are as follows:1. To carry on the business of all types of plastics andpolymers mouldings manufacturing moulding producingfabricating processing converting refining preparingimporting exporting selling distributing commissionagency and dealers in all types of sewerage fittingstubes pipes hoses vessels containers wrappingmaterials accessories fittings appliances spare partspacking materials drums bags articles and things made ofpolyvinyl chloride polythene polystyrene polycar bonatepolytetra flouriethylene acrylics nylon and other kinds ofplastics whether reinforced or otherwise rubber ferrousand non-ferrous metals and other synthetic ferrous andnon-ferrous materials and substances blends/alloys thereofrequired for use in toilets over head surface andunderground irrigation industrial and agriculturalmachinery and equipments building construction mopedsscooters cars trucks and house-hold goods.2. To carry on the business as manufacturers of and dealersin all types of plastics synthetics resin syntheticrubbers and elastomers latices and formulations thereofincluding reclaimed rubber and all kinds of plastic andrubber products goods and by-products hereto.PRESENT BUSINESS OF THE COMPANYThe company is engaged in the manufacturer of SWR rigid PVCfittings. It is presently implementing theexpansion/diversification of project for manufacturing ofthreaded rigid PVC Fittings and flush tanks at TarapurMaharashtra.
