The Company was incorporated as a Private Limited Company"Kiran Print Pack Pvt. Ltd." on 5th April 1989. It wassubsequently converted into a Public Limited Company andits name was changed to Kiran Print Pack Limited and afresh Certificate of Incorporation consequent to change ofname was issued by the Registrar of Companies Maharashtraat Bombay.The Company started operations in the year 1990-91 bytrading in paper and subsequently switched to printingactivity in mid 1992 concentrating on the specialised areaof printing and distribution of Capital Issue Stationery.The Company''s existing printing facility consists ofadvanced sophisticated and fully automatic machines andother ancillary equipments for all printing and graphicproduction needs. The existing machines includes DTP Laserprinting machines Plate making machines Processingmachines Four colour Dominant Printing machine Automaticcutting machine and Six High-speed Web Offset printingmachines.The Company has also developed an efficient distributionnetwork. Unlike other printing jobs Capital Issueprinting demands a highly organised delivery system todistribute large quantity of stationery across the countrywithin a short stipulated time. The company has beenparticularly conscious of this critical need and has geareditself up with adequate infrastructure. Its capability inthis area has enhanced its business operations and clientgoodwill and the Company being ranked third by the PrimeAlert Agency for the printing of Public Issue Stationeryfor the period April 94 - March 95. Consequently the PAT has also increased from Rs.0.20 lakhs in 1990-91 to Rs. 75.36 lakhs in 1994-95. Forthe 3 months period ended June 30 1995 the Company posteda total income of Rs.101.70 lakhs on which it achieved aPAT of Rs. 33.75 lakhs.
