Kaveri Telecoms Limited was incorporated in Karnataka on January 19 1996 to acquire the existing Proprietrix Concern ''Kaveri Microwave Components'' (KMC) as a going concern dealing in the manufacture of professional grade microwave components for usage in TelecommunicationDefence and Space Industry. The subscribers to the formation of the company were Smt. R. H. Kasturi Shri. C. Shivakumar Reddy Shri. S. Narayan Reddy Smt. C. Uma Reddy Shri. S. Subba Reddy Shri. R. H. Jayaram Reddy Smt. C. Anitha Reddy and Smt. S. Ramanamma.Kaveri Microwave Components(KMC) was started as a Proprietrix Concern by Smt. R. H. Kasturi during October 1991 for manufacture of Microwave Components. Initially the unit started manufacturing Duplex Filters. During 1992-93 KMC started manufacturing products like Isolators Circulators Power Combiners Decombiners Low Noise Amplifiers Attenuators Dummy Loads Hybrid Transformers etc.During 1993-94 KMC ventured info exports of Microwave Components. It also established a separate R & D Division in J. P. Nagar Bangalore to develop new products. In January 1995 Department of Scientific and Industrial Research Ministry of Science and Technology Government of India recognised KMC''s R & D unit. This unit has developed Antenna Coupler units for 2 and 4 channels. Tunable Band Pass Filters (for Defence) Limitters Circulators Duplex Filters UHF VHF and Microwave Application. Antennas Viz. yagi and Omnidirectional (VHF and UHF) are approved by Telecom Engineering Centre New Delhi. Components like Duplex Filters Isolators Power Combiners etc. are approved by DOT (QA) and Component Approval for Communication Technology (CACT-DOT).
