KUTCH MINERALS LIMITED was incorporated as a Private Limited Company on 22nd April 1981 and the same has been converted into a closely held Limited Company on 28th June 1994.The Company was incorporated on 22nd April 1981 vide certificate No.24282 of 1981 in the name and style of Kutch Minerals Private Limited. Registered Office of the Company was 12 A Ketki Apartments G. V. Scheme No.2. Mulund Bombay - 400 081. It was shifted to 302 Prem Apartments L. T. Road Extension Mulund (East) Bombay - 400 081 and now is at 15 Gogri Niwas1st Floor Dr.B.R. Ambedkar Road near Hindmata Cinema Dadar Bombay - 400 014.The Company then became a Public Limited Company by passing a special resolution dated 28th May 1994 and obtained a certificate of change of Name by Registrar of Companies Maharashtra dated 28th June 1994. The Company held a mining lease for 11.31 hectares for minerals China Clay and Fire Clay. The initial mining lease expired on 21/10/ 1992. TheCompany renewed mining tease grant order for 10 years w.e.f 22/10/1992 vide Government of Gujarat order no.NCR-1591(K-55)4421-CHH dated 12th May 1993. The Company has applied for extension of lease order from 10 to 20 years as per the liberalised new mining regulation introduced by Government of India vide their letter dated 19-11-94. The Company has also applied for the inclusion of Silica Sand in the mining lease vide their letters dated 19-2-1993 and 1-10-1993.The China Clay deposit in the lease area during the last 10 years of working were mined and removed by developing 2 large pits worked upto a depth of about 11.0 mts. This mining lease area has been studied in detail by Mr.M.N.A. Gowda Regn. No.RQP\UDP\010\87\A recognised under rule 22C of the Mineral Concession Rules 1960 as a qualified personto prepare mining plans. The mining plan of M/s. Kutch Minerals Limited located at survey no.394 village manfara for mining China Clay and Fire Clay has been prepared on 12th April 1992 and appraised by the region controller of mines. The Company has completed survey and preliminary working in March 1995 and it is commencing commercial production by November 1995.
