The Company was incorporated as Jyoti Structures Private Ltd.on May 27 1974 and subsequently the name was changed to JyotiStructures Private Ltd. on October 21 1974 and subsequently toJyoti Structures Limited under the Companies Act 1956.The Registered Office of the Company as first situated at 4thfloor Hind-Rajasthan Building 95 D.S. Phalke Road DadarMumbai 400 014 till 30th April 1982 and thereafter atKhoor-Sill-Naz 2nd floor Front Building Swami Gyan JiwandasMarg Opp. Dadar Central Rly. Station Mumbai - 400 014 till31st July 1987 and thereafter at `Keshava' 7th FloorBandra-Kurla Commercial Complex Bandra (E) Mumbai - 400 050till 28th January 1999. The Company acquired its own Officepremises of approximately 18800 sq.ft. at 5th & 6th Floor ofValecha Chambers New Link Road Oshiwra Andheri (W) Mumbai -400 053 and shifted its Registered office at the same since 29thJanuary 1999.The Company started its commercial production in the year1979-80. The Company went public in the year 1989 with an issueof Rs. 138 Lacs. The Company made its Rights Issue in the year1992-93 of Rs. 578 Lacs. The Company also made its Bonus Issuein the year 1994-95 in the ratio of one Bonus shares for everytwo shares held. The Company's shares are listed at the StockExchanges at Mumbai Ahmedabad Delhi & National Stock Exchange.The Company has also joined the Depository Services at NationalSecurities Depository Services Ltd. and Central DepositoryServices (India) Limited. The Company has uninterrupted trackrecord for dividend payment since 1980-81.The Company is engaged in manufacturing of transmission linetowers sub-station structures tall antenna towers / masts andrailway electrification structures. The Company also undertakesturnkey contacts involving survey foundation designingfabrication erection and stringing activities of extra highvoltage transmission lines and sub-stations in India and abroad.The Company has modern manufacturing facilities at Nasik inMaharashtra and Raipur in Madhya Pradesh capable of makingproto types fabricating and galvanizing transmission towers andstructures up to 52000 MT p.a. The Nasik factory commencedcommercial production in 1979 and has been expanded andmodernised subsequently. Consequently the capacity of theNasik plant increased from 24000 MT p.a. to 31200 MT p.a. Theplant is equipped with Computerised Numerical Control (CNC) zincbaths. The Raipur factory was set up in 1993 and covers an areaof 26305 sq. mts. The combined capacity of both the factoriesis 52000 MT p.a. The factories are manned by experiencedengineers and supervisors.The Company has a full-fledged design department with SeniorDesign Engineers having experience of over 30 years in the fieldof EHV Transmission Line. The Company has designed andsuccessfully tested towers up to 800/400 KV HVAC / 500 KV HVDCfor various utilities.The Company has a modern Research and Development Centre atVillage Ghoti Tal. Igatpuri Dist. Nasik spanning over202350 sq. mtrs. where towers up to 800 KV D/C with maximumbase dimension of 26 Mtrs x 26 Mtrs. and height up to 85 Mtrs.can be tested. The automatic loading mode is centrallycontrolled by computers through programmable logic controller.The company plans to relocate its prototype manufacturingfacility from its Nasik factory to Ghoti to facilitate massproduction at Nasik.The Company's Construction Division for erection of transmissionlines and sub-stations is manned by experienced constructionmanagers and erection engineers. The division has goodinfrastructure with construction machinery includingtension-stringing equipments for carrying out bundle conductorstringing operation of transmission lines.The Company has diversified in the field of turnkey switchyardprojects and substation projects.The Company offers turnkey services which include engineeringprocurement of major bought out items supply of lattice andpipe type structures civil works erection testing andcommissioning of switchyard/sub-stations.
