The Company was incorporated on 04/12/89 as a Private Limited Company under the Companies Act 1956 as Frontline Transport Pvt. Ltd. It was converted into a Deemed Public Limited Company by virtue of provisions of section 43-A(1A) of the Companies act 1956 on 26/11/93 and subsequently changed to a Public Limited Company with the name Frontline Transport Ltd. in terms of special resolution passed in the Extra Ordinary General Meeting held on 21/3/95.PRESENT BUSINESSThe Company is presently engaged in bulk transportation of goods. The Company has its own 45 trucks (mostly 10 tonnes) including 5 trailers. To cater the demand of transportation the Company charters trucks from the market. At present the Company is engaged in execution of long term contracts with Gujarat Heavy Chemicals Ltd. and Gujarat Siddhi Cement Ltd. for handling lifting and transportation of 28000 to 30000 MT of lignite per month from Panandhro Mines of Gujarat Mineral Development Corporation Ltd. to factory site of Gujarat Heavy Chemicals Ltd. at Sutrapada near Veraval and in transportation of 6000 MT of cement from works of Gujarat Siddhi Cement Ltd. to godown at Sarkhej.
