The Company changed its name to Chloride IndiaLtd. vide revised Certificate of Incorporation dated02.08.1972. The name of the Company was again changed toChloride Industries Ltd. vide revised Certificate ofIncorporation dated 12.10.1988.The name of the Company has been changed from "ChlorideIndustries Ltd." to "Exide Industries Ltd." with effectfrom 25.08.95.
