Kapadia''sbeing the Promoters are having units for manufacturing FTLand are in process to manufacture GLS and HPSV Lamps wherefilaments are heart bit components. Promoter''s decided tohave own unit to manufacture filaments to get the qualityas well as timely replenishment of raw material.Considering the same company proposes to set up plant tomanufacture GLS filaments FTL filaments and MolybdenumSupport Wires with the plant and technology from M/s.Tungsram Company Ltd. of Hungary. M/s. Tungsram CompanyLtd. of Hungary is the leader in the field of manufacturingfilaments and filaments technology. Company has enteredinto an agreement with M/s Orissa Luminaires Ltd. onOctober 20 1994 for providing technical know-how formanufacturing special filaments having life of 5000 hours.They have obtained these technology from their foreigncollaborators M/s. OY AIRAM ELECTRIC AB OF FINLAND. Companyproposes to produce 30 million pcs. of GLS filaments(including speciality filaments having 5000 hours life) 20million pcs. of FTL filaments and 2.40 mt. of MolybdenumSupport Wire.
