The Company was incorporated as a Private Limited companyon 14th July 1986 in the state of Maharashtra under thename vedant Hotels Private Limited. Subsequently videspecial resolution passed in the Extra-ordinary GeneralMeetings held on 19th January 1990 it was converted into apublic limited company. The Registrar of CompaniesMaharashtra issued fresh certificate of incorporation on12th February. 1990.The Company was established for the purpose of putting uphotel projects and other tourism related objectives. Thepresent hotel being first of the projects is located atAurangabad Maharashtra.In the course of implementation of this project thecompany made several changes in the project providing foradditional banquet hall restaurant conference rooms andalso improvement in the quality of furniture andfixture/fittings for the rooms with the object ofmaximising the F & B sales through banquet and conferencesand to provide for installing balancing facilities to seek5 star classification at a later date. Due to the aforesaidreasons and general price rise the project was delayed andthere were time and cost overruns Subsequently Vedantdecided to install balancing facilities to seek 5 starclassification set up a terrace garden restaurant Installa Capsule Lift and Equip the hotel to provide additionalfacilities with the object of attracting tourists andimproving the profitability.The hotel commenced operations by a soft launch on 26thMarch 1994.
