M/s. Combat Drugs Limited was incorporated as a PrivateLimited Company on 18th September 1986. The Company wasconverted into a Public Limited Company on llth June1992.The Company was promoted by Mr. Suchit Mohan Lal who hasvast experience in Marketing of Pharmaceutical Formulationsand Mr. Ajay Karan who has experience in the Production aswell as Marketing of pharmaceutical formulations.The Commercial Production of the company started in July1987 on Loan Licence basis. The company acquired a fullfledged manufacturing unit located at Balanagar Hyderabadon lease from M/s. Fairchild Laboratories Pvt. Ltd. andcommenced Production from the said unit in August 1988.In July 1992 the Manufacturing activities of the Companywere shifted to the present leased premises at 18AKushaiguda Hyderabad.The Lease for the present premises is initially for aperiod of 3 years w.e.f June 1992 which can be extendedfor a further period of 2 years with mutual consent. Thetotal constructed area of 7200 Sft. is conforming to therequirements of a Pharmaceutical Unit and can accomodateTablet Capsule and Liquid Sections along with Laboratoryincluding facilities to manufacture Hi-tec Formulationswith little modifications. Utilities like Power water etcare already available on the Unit.The Company recorded a growth in its turnover from Rs.5.63lacs in 1987-88 to Rs.61.14 lacs in 1993-94.
