The Company was incorporated on 30th March 1990 as a Private Limited Company with the Registrar of Companies Rajasthan at Jaipur in the name and style of Home Land Finance & Consultants Private Limited to carry out various business in leasing hire purchase investment in securities intercorporate loans project advisory services and other allied activities. Subsequently as per the special resolution passed by the shareholders at the Extra-ordinary General Meeting the Company''s name was changed to Continental Securities Private Limited on January 20 1995 which was later changed to Continental Securities Ltd. by passing the necessary resolution on 25.01.95 and received a fresh certificate of incorporation on February 1 1995 to carry out the business in leasing hire purchase and various investment related activities in India and abroad. The Company has its office in the heart of business centre at Jaipur. Its office is fully equipped with necessary office equipment like Computers Fax Photocopiers & required furnitures.PRESENT BUSINESSThe Company is presently engaged in leasing and hire purchase investment in securities intercorporate loans and such allied fund based activities and provides corporate financial and technical consultancy services in Rajasthan and now proposes to expand its activities in leasing hire purchase bill discounting investment and trading services consultancy services and construction services and create equity research facilities in the office for making investment decisions. The existing EDP centre is providing various financial services to the clients through business contacts and conducting educational courses in Jaipur. The Company possesses a very powerful software Tally 5.00 with which it provides services to corporate clients. These services include Book Keeping Maintenance of multiple accounts budget control cost centre data comparision and import and export of data. The centre also conducts various educational programmes to achieve specific competence level through the experienced and qualified professionals. It offers a six month course targetted at under-graduate students and graduates with a view to provide them an overview on computers and give them an exposure in software packages viz. DBase Ill plus Lotus 1-2-3 an DOS. The course also requires the students to submit a project report which would prepare them for the real office environment.There are no Companies under the same management within the meaning of Section 370 (1B) of the Companies Act 1956.
