We were founded by four professionals who come from coreengineering management and finance backgrounds and wereincorporated as Consolidated Construction Consortium Limited on July 11 1997.We are one of the lead ing providers of integratedturn-key construction services and have executed or are executing projectsacross 17 states and union territories in India. We provide integrated turn-keyconstruction services in the industrial commercial infrastructure and residential sectors of the constructionindustry. Our integrated turnkey construction services include a range of (i) construction services such asconstruction design engineering procurement construction and project management and (ii) construction allied services such as mechanical electrical plumbing fire-fighting heating ventilation and air conditioning interior fit-out services and glazing solutions. We provide these services either directlythrough our Subsidiaries or in certain cases through third parties.Our Company was incorporated in 1997 in Chennai by our Promotersfour of whom have over 20 years experience each in the construction sector.Since completing our first project a temple in Tamil Nadu in 1998 we have executed 334 projects comprising of 104 industrial projects in the sector172 commercial projects 14 infrastructure projects and 44 residential projectsacross 14 states and union territories in India The built up area of the projectsconstructed by us extends to 19 million sq.ft. comprising of 3.84 million sq.ft. in the industrial sector 12.68 million sq.ft. in the commercial sectorand 2.48 million sq.ft. in the residential sector. Our projects include factoriesresidential and commercial buildings hospitals hotels power plants and structures in the infrastructure sector such as water tankswater supply schemes and bridges. We have regional officesin Chennai BangaloreHyderabad Delhi Pune and Kolkata.In March 2006 we received an equity investment of Rs. 1 billion fromUTI Venture Funds and Evolvence.For further details on the aboveallotments refer to History and Certain Corporate Matters Agreementswith Investors on Page 92.In addition to our core business we also provide interior contracting services through Consolidated Interiors Limited our wholly ownedsubsidiary and have begun the process of incorporating anewsubsidiary Noble Consolidated Glazings Limited withthe object of providing glazing and aluminium solutions. We are also involved in providing construction services for certainprojects through Yuga Developers and Yuga Builders partnershipfirms in which we are partners.
