Classic leasing and Finance Ltd. was originally incorporated on April 2 1984 in the state of West Bengal as a Private Limited Company and was registered with Reserve Bank Of India as a Non-Banking Financial company vide their letter no.DFC/3201/CAL(WB) LC(C)-39/84-85 dated20/02/85. The company subsequently got converted into Public Limited Company and obtained fresh Certificate of Incorporation from the Registrar of Companies West Bengal on 18th April 1995.The company is presently engaged in the business of leasing Hire purchase and Investment Banking. Given the fund base of the company it has successfully managed to earn a sizeable amount of profit. The company intends to expand it''s current level of activities in the existing business and also embark into other related financial activities viz Short term money market operations Corporateadvisory/consultancy services.With the economic scenario being thrown open after the liberalisation the company proposes to tap the high potential financial services sector for generation of greater Profitability.
