Cubical Financial Services Ltd. was incorporated as aPrivate Limited Company under the Companies Act 1956 on11.05.1990 in the name and style of Cubical ConstructionPvt. Ltd. The name of the company was changed to CubicalFinancial Services Pvt. Ltd. on 14.09.1994 which wassubsequently converted to Cubical Financial Services Ltd.on 30.09.1994. Fresh Certificate of Incorporationconsequent upon change of name on conversion to PublicLimited Company was granted by the Registrar of theCompanies NCT of Delhi and Haryana on 30.09.1994. Sinceinception the company was engaged in the business ofconstruction of residential flats & bunglows and theactivities were centralised in the Union Territory ofDelhi. The company earned Profit After Tax of 0.16 LacsRs.0.04 Lacs and Rs.0.26 Lacs in the years 1991-92 1992-93and 1994 respectively. In the year 1994 the management ofthe company decided to switch over to the business offinancial services initially with investment in the primaryand secondary market followed by other allied services inthe field of finance leasing and merchant banking. Themain reason behind the switch over was that the return oninvestment (ROI) in the construction business which wasvery low.PRESENT BUSINESSPresently the company is engaged n the business ofinvestment in securities both in primary and secondarymarkets. Till 28.09 1994 the company has invested a sum ofRs.18.81 Lacs in primary market and Rs.54.21 Lacs in thesecondary markets. Besides this the company has alsoextended a loan of Rs.5.00 Lacs to Corporate bodies.
